Marie is constantly on the road about three days a week, forty six weeks a year. She continues to entertain and remains in demand for corporate events. Marie has been a featured speaker for events sponsored by various civic and church groups, including corporate and business events with audiences as large as 25,000 nationally and internationally.

Marie has also been a featured speaker to schools at stadiums and gymnasiums from elementary to college students. As a result, she now has a large grass-roots following.

Marie was born South of the Falfurrias, TX border checkpoint, about an hour and a half from her birthtown of McAllen, TX, and as a result has been called a ‘wetback’. Being called a ‘wetback’ has made Marie laugh, as she’s known to not be easily offended.

Marie loves America and believes in the American dream. Marie started working as early as she can remember, sweeping her grandma’s and grandpa’s barber and beauty shop, and helping them tidy up, from washing and folding barber and salon towels, to helping her grandma sell antiques at the local flea market. 

By the time Marie was fifteen she was working at an Ophthalmologist office, while going to school. She then moved up into a position at commercial print shop doing coding. 

By the time Marie was 21 she was running the marketing department for a financial institution.

And, by the time Marie was 26, she was a single mom of four. Yes, typical Latina, always pregnant, and almost barefoot-if it was not for her tenacity to make it in the business world of medical device sales, to make sure her kids didn’t end up hungry and shoeless as well.

She was eventually fired for making too much money in sales. But, she came back and bought the company that fired her two years later.

As a strong believer that the American Dream is possible, if you work hard, have faith and don’t give up—she encourages students and people from all walks of life, that you have value, purpose and you matter!

Marie discovered the wonderful world of stand-up comedy, when she began incorporating humor into her inspirational messages.

Marie does not worry about being offended or offending—political correctness does not exist in her world.

But, whether you are a democrat, republican, independent or never show up at the polls to vote—one thing is guaranteed—you will laugh so hard, you may just pee a litte, or a lot…so bring your depends to the show for a roaring laughter, you’ll never forget. And, when you are feeling blue, you will think of Marie, and start laughing again.

Marie credits her success to her Christian faith, and as a result of the values instilled in her by her grandparents, who helped raise her. The absence of a father, and spending weekends with her mentally disabled single mom, gives her a unique perspective, compassion and relatability to people from all walks of life.

Her family friendly, and lacking in vulgarity comedy, sets her apart.
